DR. LYDIA HAN | Therapeutic Optometrist
Dr. Lydia Han is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and glaucoma specialist dedicated to helping patients see—and live—their best. A graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), she earned her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry, where she also completed a prestigious residency in Vision Rehabilitation with an emphasis in Low Vision and Ocular Disease.
During her residency at the Bowden Eye Clinic in San Antonio, Dr. Han provided comprehensive low-vision care for patients of all ages and backgrounds, fitting advanced optical and non-optical aids and collaborating with specialists to ensure each patient had access to resources for independence and mobility. She has presented research at national conferences, contributed to genetic testing studies for inherited retinal diseases, and mentored future optometrists as a clinical preceptor and guest lecturer.
As an optometrist, Dr. Han loves helping patients see better and feel better about their vision and hopes to bring bright energy to her patients every day. Fluent in Korean and conversational in Spanish, she strives to make each patient feel understood and supported.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Han is an avid foodie who enjoys discovering new restaurants, traveling with her husband, and hitting the golf course. She has also participated in medical mission trips, a tradition that continues to inspire her compassionate, service-minded care.
Dr. Han is excited to join the Cedar Park community after recently relocating to the area. She’s looking forward to exploring local spots—feel free to share your favorite restaurants and hidden gems with her!
